Whether they are clumsy or have troubles making friends, have difficulties running, getting dressed or picking up small objects, or have troubles managing big feelings, have meltdowns or have difficulty concentrating.

During the consult, we'll work out what's going on for your child and provide a plan to help you get the results that your family needs
Your child is clumsy and falls or trips frequently, causing you frustration and makes you concerned for their safety
Your child struggles to get dressed, open food packets, or tell you how they're feeling, and you're worried about how they'll cope at kindy or at school
Your child struggles with play skills like catching, throwing, or building blocks, and it's hard watching them fall behind other kids their age
Your child has trouble concentrating in class or during homework time
Morning and bedtime routines have become chaotic because your child loses focus, gets distracted, and can't follow your instructions
Your child has frequent meltdowns but can't tell you why, leaving you feeling helpless
Simple tasks like getting ready for school or sitting through dinner end in meltdowns, making everyday life overwhelming
Your child can't sit still, constantly moves around, and struggles to pay attention or manage their emotions
Your child can't write their name, hold a pencil correctly, use scissors, or balance on one foot, and kindy or school is approaching fast

Paediatric Occupational Therapists are trained to assess and provide therapy for children who may experience difficulties with their fine, gross or visual motor skills as well as sensory and emotional regulation difficulties. Occupational Therapists help children to participate and engage in their everyday lives.
Paediatric Occupational Therapists are trained to help children with the occupation of being a child! This means making and keeping friends, playing, building, running, jumping, being creative, listening and self care activities like getting dressed and tying their shoelaces.
For some children, learning to move, play and manage their emotions can simply be hard. A parent does not cause their child to have these difficulties, but a parent who has found the right advice and support can help their child to find success and independence.
